The new Docket App for Zoom is now available in the Zoom App Marketplace, which hosts more than 1,400 third-party integrations that extend the power of Zoom’s video communications platform.
“Docket helps Zoom users promote more effective business communication before, during, and after meetings,” said Ross Mayfield, Product Lead, Zoom Apps & Integrations, Zoom. “Bringing the functionality of these platforms together enhances the total meeting experience and delivers happiness to our users.”
This new collection of apps provides greater in-meeting functionality for all Zoom users within Zoom Meetings and the desktop client. Zoom’s in-product Zoom Apps are a recent addition to the Zoom App Marketplace. Docket took first-place in Zoom’s first “Whale Watch” App Marketplace competition in May 2020.
Built with busy teams in mind, Docket enhances every type of work meeting with an adaptable framework for end-to-end meeting management. The Docket App for Zoom includes shared meeting agendas, public and private digital notepads for all meeting participants, and unlimited storage of meeting artifacts such as summaries, recordings, transcriptions and attachments.
“We’ve talked to many teams who plan to move into a hybrid workplace model over the next several months,” said Docket CEO, Darin Brown. “We’re very excited to support those teams and organizations as they navigate that transition and develop collaborative meeting processes without sacrificing productivity.”
Docket has helped thousands of teams adopt better meeting habits with shared agenda creation, stored meeting history and action item tracking. The company launched out of High Alpha’s venture studio in Indianapolis. Before co-founding Docket, Brown served as the CTO of Angie’s List and Vice President at Salesforce and ExactTarget.
“Thanks to Zoom, everyone from small businesses to enterprise corporations have seen how remote and hybrid work can boost productivity,” said Carl Eschenbach, Partner at Sequoia Capital. “Now with Docket, the work that has traditionally been done outside of the meeting can be brought seamlessly into the Zoom experience to make meetings even better.”
